The annual Flemish Duinencross took place on Sunday the 25th of November. Like every other year, a lot of fans gathered to see our champions compete. And as always: we had a memorable time.
Our sponsored athlete, Wout van Aert, won a silver medal, with 1:04:38 on the clock. Even after a fall in the first round, Wout proved to be a go-getter and managed well. We are very proud!
The Dutchman Pim Ronhaar proved himself today and won the worldcup. Our very own Witse Meeussen finished second, followed by German Tom Linder
Tom Pidcock showed his strength and won the worldcup, leaving Frenchman Antoine Benoist and Dutchman Jens Dekker at second and third place.
Our first compatriot was Yentl Bekaert, on place 5
Denise Betsema won her first worldcup, congratulations! Nikki Brammeier and Annemarie Worst came in second and third.
The first Belgian athlete was Laura Verdonschot in 6th place, followed by Sanne Cant (7th) and Marianne Vos (12th)
Mathieu van der Poel won the worldcup, leading with 25 seconds. Even after a fall in the first round, Wout van Aert managed to keep up and came in second. Toon Aerts placed third, and went home with the bronze medal
